Edson Graham

Edson Graham has been an active volunteer in Ponce Inlet since the 1980’s when he became one of the town’s original Volunteer Firefighters and served as President of the Volunteer Fire Association. He was also one of the original board members of the Citizens for Ponce Inlet Organization (CFPI) and from 1985 to 2002 Edson delivered CFPI Newsletters house to house on roller skates. Since that time, he has been emailing Ponce Inlet residents on a regular basis, informing them of important town issues and activities. When CFPI helped raise money to build our town Community Center, Edson became an original member of the newly created Ponce Inlet Community Center, Inc. (PICCI) governing board. For the last 15 years, Edson has been a Board Member of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Association, Inc., volunteering his time to preserve and protect this historic town property. He has worked hard and assisted in raising funds for the Lighthouse Association’s Educational Programs through fish fry dinners, donations and solicitations. He also served as a member and acting Chairman of the Ponce Inlet Board of Adjustments. When the Ponce Inlet’s Bike Path was being considered and monies raised, Edson could be found donating his time and talents to the cause. He is a very active member of the Ponce Inlet Lions Club assisting in their numerous fundraising events. Presently, as a PICCI Board Member, Edson spends a great deal of time helping to manage this important town organization, all the while he captains several Tennis Teams and coaches Ladies Pickle Ball. In recognition for his many years of service to the Town of Ponce Inlet’s citizens, Edson was honored at our 2016 Christmas Parade as Grand Marshall.
